The 2023 Koinonia Foundation Gala

It's that time of year again! Our annual Koinonia Foundation Gala is approaching and we cannot wait to share with you all of the incredible changes and growth we've experienced in the last year.

On October 27th we will gather at Bridgewater Place for an evening of fun, fellowship, fundraising, food and cocktails! Silent Auction and Entertainment by Knoxville's own Chelsea Berry will be provided!

The Koinonia Foundation serves individuals with disabilities through unique, needs-based programs that enrich their lives and provide the opportunity for life-long learning.

The Koinonia Foundation serves individuals with disabilities with the following programs:

• Camp Koinonia - Overnight camp in the Spring for kids ages 7-21.
• Koinonia Retreat - Overnight camp in the Fall for adults ages 22 and up.
• Camp Isagoge - Day camp in the Fall for kids ages 5-11.
• We Adapt - Monthly community engagement events for adults 18 and up .
• Koinonia Classroom - Program for Special Education classrooms that provides video content of adapted activities and supplies kits for all the activities.

Over the course of the last year, we have seen incredible growth in our We Adapt programs and Koinonia Classroom and we welcomed back our campers at both Camp Koinonia and Koinonia Retreat. We are also excited to introduce our newest program, Camp Isagoge. This is a one-day, day camp, program that will serve kids with disabilities ages 5 to 11.

We hope you will join us on October 27th to celebrate 20 plus years of meaningful opportunities for kids and adults with disabilities in our community!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

• There are no age requirements to buy a ticket. Beer, wine, and liquor will be available at the event, however.

What are the parking options for the event?

• Parking is available at Bridgewater Place. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.

How do you accept payment?

• If you'd like to buy tickets, you may purchase through this ticketing service, or you may mail a check made out to The Camp Koinonia Foundation to 5908 Toole Drive Unit H, Knoxville, TN 37919.

What is the attire for the evening?

• Attire is cocktail.
